- You need of medium over ripe bananas, well mashed.
- Prepare of milk of choice – gluten free flour will need a little extra.

- Put the butter into a microwave safe glass dish or bowl, litre sized, and heat on high until melted, 30 seconds or so.
- Mix the milk, sugar and mashed bananas into the melted butter, then mix in the flour, cinnamon, baking powder and soda.
- Heat on high (my microwave is 800W) for 8 – 10 minutes or until risen and cooked right through. It'll pull away from the sides of the bowl when done.
- Serve immediately with custard, ice cream or caramel sauce.
